COPYRIGHT POLICY

Ashley Lyon Realtor believes in the importance of both real estate property and intellectual property. Per our agreement with third parties, we refrain from posting content and materials that interfere with the intellectual property of others. To avoid the infringement of intellectual property, we have a process for submitting complaints if any material on our website violates U.S. copyright law.

In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, Ashley Lyon Realtor has implemented a procedure for submission of notices about copyright infringement.

We have also implemented a procedure for submitting counter-notices for erroneous copyright infringement.

Note that all Notices and Counter-Notices must be truthful and under the penalty of perjury. A false Notice or Counter-Notice may result in personal liability.

Ashley Lyon holds the right to remove any content or material that infringes on the Copyright Act.

Notice of Copyright Infringement

If any content or material on Ashley Lyon’s website infringes on your copyright or that of an organization that you represent, a Notice may be submitted in the form of a mail.

Include your full name, email address, phone number, and mailing address when sending the mail. A detailed description of the infringed copyrighted work and the copyright owner should also be included. You may also include a URL leading to the alleged infringed content.

Include a statement that confirms that the use of the material has not been authorized by the copyright owner, its agents, or law.

A statement by you, under the penalty of perjury, must be included. Let it indicate that you are the copyright owner or you have been authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Counter-Notice

If you believe that a Notice of a false Copyright Infringement submitted against you, you may submit a Counter-Notice in the form of an email or letter.

Include your full name, email address, phone number, and mailing address when sending the mail. A detailed description of the removed material and the content location before it was disabled should also be included.

A statement by you, under the penalty of perjury, must be included. Let it indicate that the removed material was a result of a mistake or misidentification.

Your statement must indicate that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the address provided in the Counter-Notice is located.
